Discover Bully Brew Co.

The first time I walked into Bully Brew Co. at 9828 W Northern Ave #1720, Peoria, AZ 85345, United States, I wasn’t expecting to stay long. I just needed a solid cup of coffee and maybe a quick bite. Two hours later, I was still there, halfway through a second drink, chatting with the barista about their roasting process and watching the steady flow of locals who clearly treat this place like their second home.

The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy café and laid-back diner. There’s plenty of natural light, comfortable seating for small groups, and enough outlets for remote workers tapping away on laptops. From what I’ve seen during multiple visits, the location draws a mixed crowd-students, families, retirees, and professionals grabbing a break between meetings. It feels lived-in, in a good way.

Let’s talk about the menu, because that’s where this spot really shines. Their coffee program isn’t an afterthought. According to the National Coffee Association, over 60% of Americans drink coffee daily, and specialty coffee consumption continues to rise. Bully Brew Co. clearly leans into that trend. Their espresso drinks are well-balanced, with a smooth crema and no bitterness. I ordered a classic latte on my first visit, and the milk was textured just right-silky, not overly foamy. That kind of consistency usually comes from proper barista training and attention to detail.

On another visit, I tried their cold brew. The extraction tasted clean and low in acidity, which suggests a slow steeping process over several hours. Cold brew, when done right, reduces perceived acidity and highlights chocolate and nutty notes. That’s exactly what I got here. It wasn’t watered down or overly sweet-just bold and refreshing.

Food-wise, this isn’t just a coffee counter with a pastry case. The breakfast and lunch options make it feel more like a neighborhood diner. Their sandwiches are hearty without being greasy. I had a breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and sausage on a toasted bun, and it hit that comforting, satisfying note you want in the morning. Portions are generous, but not overwhelming. You can tell they’ve thought through the balance of flavors and textures.

What stands out most is consistency. In the restaurant world, consistency is everything. The National Restaurant Association often highlights operational consistency as one of the biggest drivers of positive customer reviews and repeat business. Based on my experience and the steady stream of online reviews praising both service and food quality, Bully Brew Co. understands this well. Every visit has felt reliably good, from drink temperature to friendly service.

Speaking of service, the staff here genuinely seem to care. I once watched a barista remake a drink without hesitation because the customer said it tasted slightly off. There was no argument, no eye roll-just a quick apology and a fresh cup. That kind of responsiveness builds trust. In hospitality, trust is currency. When customers know they’ll be taken seriously, they come back.

The location in Peoria also makes it convenient for locals exploring the surrounding area. Whether you’re running errands, meeting a friend, or scouting new café locations for remote work, this spot fits easily into your day. Parking is straightforward, and the layout inside makes it easy to grab something to-go or settle in for a while.

It’s worth noting that like any busy café, peak hours can mean a short wait. Weekend mornings especially get lively. However, the line tends to move quickly, and in my experience, the quality never drops even when the place is packed. That speaks to good workflow behind the counter-clear systems, organized prep, and teamwork.

Overall, Bully Brew Co. delivers more than just caffeine. It offers a comfortable space, a thoughtful menu, and service that feels personal rather than scripted. In a market crowded with chain coffee shops and generic diners, that combination makes it stand out in Peoria’s growing food scene.

  • The Avocado Toast was very flavorful with the poached egg, onion, tomato, and Tabasco sauce. Customer service was good and the restaurant was quite clean with nice decorations. Would recommend!

  • Great little hidden gem! Food and drinks are good. Easy flow in and out, with a charming atmosphere and plenty of goodies to choose from. Lots of places to sit whether in groups or little places for individuals to tuck into for some quiet reading. They even have a game wall with some oldies but goodies to enjoy with friends. Would definitely recommend.

  • This is a great little place to grab coffee, green tea and a bite to eat before going to the movies. The staff is friendly and service was quick. We sat in the back, it was nice and quiet. The avocado toast was delicious. The chicken salad croissant is enough for two to share!

  • First visit and we really enjoyed it. My wife loved her white mocha, and I did too, but I went with a vanilla bean iced latte which was smooth and well balanced. The shop itself is cozy, welcoming, and has a great neighborhood feel with indoor and outdoor seating— the kind of place you can relax, take your time, and actually enjoy your coffee.

  • The coffee was pretty good, though a bit more on the bitter side for my taste since I usually prefer sweeter drinks. If you enjoy a slightly bitter vanilla latte, you’ll probably love it here. The atmosphere is awesome, modern, hip, and very chill. Service was decent, though our iced vanilla lattes took a bit longer than expected considering we were the only ones in line. Most places have them out within a few minutes. The cup lids also tended to drip or leak a little, so I’d recommend grabbing a straw, even if that’s not your usual style. Overall, it’s a cute spot and a great place to grab a quick coffee!

  • Adorable Hidden Gem! Bully Brew at Park West is such a cute and cozy spot! It has so much character — from the charming décor to the friendly vibe, it's instantly welcoming. What really stands out is the unique menu. You won’t find your typical coffee shop offerings here — everything feels thoughtfully crafted and a little bit adventurous. Perfect place to relax, catch up with a friend, or get a bit of work done. Highly recommend if you're looking for something with personality and great coffee!

  • Listen overall this place is great. Went for the first time the day after Christmas. The food was amazing and the service was awesome. That said, there was an unpleasant odor in the back part of the coffee shop, like sewer smell. I doubt its their fault, it could be a plumbing/building issue. So we sat in the front to avoid it and it worked out OK. Not sure if thats an ongoing thing but thats what it was like that day. Back to the food, my friend had a croissant egg sandwich and I had a sourdough egg sandwich. Both were great. He enjoyed his coffee and I loved my iced tea. There were a lot of things in the pastry case that looked amazing as well and I will definitely be back to try it.

  • I love this place and I’m so glad it’s near my home. I always get a perfectly steamed latte, thick foam, no ridiculous bubbles (see pics) which is what makes a latte. I had their chicken and bacon sandwich today and it’s absolutely excellent! The bacon is thick and CRISPY adding a wonderful texture. I don’t know if it’s the sauce or the bread but there is also a lovely herb-ey-ness to the sandwich. The cannoli cruffin looks so good and I had it but personally it’s too much cream inside for me (I feel like most people would like that though). Gets a little busy so I wish there was a way to segment out areas rather than one big room but it’s still really nice. I’ve had the breakfast sandwich before as well and that’s always good.
